WE INVITE
to actively participate in
The symposium will include the following scientific sessions:
The main goal of the Symposium is to gather scientists, breeders, veterinarians, producers and practitioners related to broadly understood poultry breeding and production. The symposium also gives students and young scientists the opportunity to present their research results to a wide audience from academia, research institutes and practitioners as part of the Jerzy Będkowski Young Researchers Competition. The discussion panel “Current trends and challenges in Polish and European poultry production” held as part of the Symposium is also an excellent platform for exchanging experiences and addressing the most critical issues. During this event, in addition to presenting the latest research trends in poultry, we will discuss and popularize important issues in the field of poultry breeding and breeding among scientists, representatives of the poultry industry, media and influence groups interested in animal production.
The symposium is dedicated to scientists and practitioners interested in breeding and rearing of commercial birds, including reproduction, physiology, incubation, as well as nutrition, assessment of the quality and safety of food of poultry origin, and prevention in poultry production. We expect large participation of delegates from abroad and from Poland.
We strongly encourage practitioners, including breeders, veterinarians and processors, to take part in the Symposium, because the first day of the Symposium, which is scheduled at the Congress Center of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, will be devoted especially to practical aspects in poultry breeding and production.
Moreover, on this day there will be Laudations for awarding the Honorary Membership of WPSA to scientists who have made particular contributions to poultry farming and the WPSA Association:
prof. Antoni Brodacki – University of Life Sciences in Lublin
prof. Jan Jankowski – University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn
Dr hab. Henryk Malec – Poultry Hatching Plant “Malec”
Dr. Ryszard Gilewski – AVICONS
The XXXIV International Poultry Symposium of PB WPSA, apart from the exchange of scientific and practical experiences, will also provide participants with cultural events related to the Lublin region.
