The University of Life Sciences in Lublin will host PhD Shubiao Wu, associate professor from the Department of Agroecology, Aarhus University, Denmark,  from May 6th to 10th, 2025.

The event is carried out with the financial support of The City of Lublin, as part of the “Visiting Professors in Lublin Program”

Information about the invited professor

Professor Shubiao Wu has pioneered groundbreaking research on sulfur-triggered biogeochemical transformations in the rhizosphere of constructed wetlands, making significant strides in understanding complex microbial pathways and nutrient cycling processes. Invited professor is currently a leader of two HORIZON projects: “‘WET HORIZONS” and “NBS4Drougth” aimed at advancing wetland restoration across Europe, and “NEUTEN,” focused on developing energy-neutral wastewater treatment technologies. Invited professor has authored over 160 publications, with 76 papers featured in high-impact journals.

His research has widely recognized, amassing over citations and H-index 53. Professor Shubiao Wu is recognized among the world’s top 2% scientists in his field, as reported by Stanford University.
