The schedule of the regular admission procedure and the supplementary admission procedure referred to in the Annex to Resolution No. 24/2025–2026 of the Senate of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin of 24 April 2026 laying down the Admission Rules for the Doctoral School of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin for the academic year 2026/2027 shall be as follows:

  1. 1 July 2026 – commencement of the admission procedure to the Doctoral School;
  2. 1 July–31 August 2026 – submission of application documents by candidates for admission to the Doctoral School;
  3. 1 September 2026 – publication on the University’s website (Doctoral School webpage) of information on the composition of the Recruitment Committee;
  4. 11 September 2026 – notification of candidates of the date, time and venue of the admission interview by means of an announcement published on the University’s website (Doctoral School webpage). In duly justified cases, the admission interview may be conducted online upon the candidate’s request submitted to the Director of the Doctoral School;
  5. 14–15 September 2026 – meetings of the Recruitment Committee, including the examination and assessment of candidates’ academic achievements on the basis of the submitted documents;
  6. 21–22 September 2026 – admission interviews;
  7. 23 September 2026 – publication of the ranking list of candidates;
  8. 25 September 2026 – publication of the list of candidates admitted to the Doctoral School.

Ordinance No. 66/2026 of 25 June 2026 on determining the admission limit for the Doctoral School of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin for the academic year 2026/2027, establishing the schedule of the qualification procedure for admission to the Doctoral School of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin for the academic year 2026/2027, and specifying the templates of documents to be used by the Recruitment Committee in conducting the regular and supplementary admission procedures.

ORDINANCE No. 66 of the Rector of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin dated of 25 June 2026 on determining the admission limit to the Doctoral School of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin for the academic year 2026/2027, establishing the schedule of the admission procedure to the Doctoral School of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin for the academic year 2026/2027, and specifying the document templates to be used by the Recruitment Committee in conducting the regular and supplementary admission procedures:

  • Appendix No. 1 – Application to the Rector for admission to the Doctoral School, indicating the scientific discipline that is the candidate’s field of interest.
  • Appendix No. 2 – Personal questionnaire of a candidate applying to the Doctoral School of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin.
  • Appendix No. 3 – Information on the candidate’s scientific activity, including a list of publications, involvement in student scientific associations, awards and distinctions received, and completed national and international internships.
  • Appendix No. 4 – Description of the candidate’s scientific interests in the context of the planned research – a description of the preliminary research project proposal.
  • Appendix No. 5 – Candidate’s declaration regarding the need or lack of need to appoint an auxiliary supervisor for the preparation of the doctoral dissertation.
  • Appendix No. 6 – Candidate’s declaration of proficiency in English at a level sufficient to undertake education at the Doctoral School of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin.
  • Appendix No. 7 – Declaration by the head of the organizational unit confirming the possibility of completing the mandatory professional placement within the organizational unit in accordance with the education programme.
  • Appendix No. 8 – Candidate’s declaration that, if admitted to the Doctoral School of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, they will be enrolled as a doctoral candidate in only one doctoral school.
  • Appendix No. 9 – Information clause on the processing of personal data (GDPR).
  • Appendix No. 10 – Questionnaire for a prospective doctoral dissertation supervisor.

A candidate applying for admission to the Doctoral School of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin is required—in addition to the documents specified in the appendices to § 4 of this Order—to submit additional documents, specifically:
1. a copy of their university graduation diploma or, if the candidate does not yet hold a diploma, a certificate of completion of studies, along with a certificate stating the grade point average achieved during their studies (listed separately for first-cycle and second-cycle studies);
2. a medical certificate and a sanitary-epidemiological clearance confirming the absence of healthcontraindications to undertaking education at the Doctoral School and conducting scientific research in the chosen scientific discipline; these must be issued based on a referral provided by the University following the submission of the application referred to in § 7 para. 1 of the Admission Rules. Candidates holding a disability certificate are additionally required to submit information confirmed by a physician regarding the nature of the disability, as well as the certificate issued by the competent disability assessment authority;
3. a transcript of grades obtained in all subjects completed during their studies—or, in the case of two-cycle studies, listed separately for first-cycle and second-cycle studies—certified by the dean of the faculty where the candidate obtained their diploma;
4. a current photograph, taken in accordance with the requirements of the Online Candidate Registration (IRK) system; 3/3
5. proof of payment of the admission fee, in accordance with Order No. 65 of the Rector of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin dated 22 June 2026 regarding the admission procedure fee for candidates to the Doctoral School of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin.
6. employment certificate (only for candidates applying under the Implementation Doctorate programme).

Recruitment Schedule of the Doctoral School of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin under the Implementation Doctorate Programme for the 2026/2027 Academic Year

  1. By 27 May – consultation with the prospective doctoral supervisor(s) regarding the doctoral dissertation topic and the area of planned research. In addition, preparation of all information necessary for submitting the first part of the application in the ZSUN/OSF system. At this stage, the planned activities should also be agreed upon with the company/enterprise interested in participating in the Programme.
  2. By 8 June – entering all required data into the application in the ZSUN/OSF system and making the completed application available to the staff of the Research Affairs Department of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin.
  3. By 12 June – submission of the application via the ZSUN/OSF system.
  4. 17 August* – publication on the University of Life Sciences in Lublin website of information regarding the commencement of an additional recruitment process in connection with the implementation of Implementation Doctorate projects.
  5. From 1 July to 31 August* – submission of application documents by candidates for admission to the Doctoral School.
  6. 1 September* – publication on the University of Life Sciences in Lublin website of information concerning the composition of the Recruitment Committee (Doctoral School webpage).
  7. 11 September* – notification of candidates regarding the venue and time of the admission interview, by means of an announcement published on the University of Life Sciences in Lublin website (News – Doctoral School webpage).
  8. 14–15 September* – meeting of the Recruitment Committee; analysis and assessment of candidates’ academic and research achievements by the Recruitment Committee based on the submitted documentation and admission interviews.
  9. 21–22 September* – admission interviews.
  10. 23 September* – publication of the ranking list of candidates, indicating those who meet the admission criteria for the Doctoral School.
  11. 25 September* – publication of the list of candidates admitted to the Doctoral School.
  12. After 25 September – submission, via the ZSUN/OSF system, of supplementary information concerning the personal and academic details of doctoral candidates admitted to the Doctoral School.
