Division of Polish Society of Agricultural Engineering in Lublin

The activities of the Division are primarily concerned with statutory tasks and the organisation of scientific conferences. The Division organizes regular meetings, during which current affairs and scientific issues related to the society’s subject matter are discussed. Moreover, the Lublin Division is a co-organizer of the International Scientific Symposium entitled “Farm Machinery and Processes Management in Sustainable Agriculture” and the Jubilee Conferences of the Faculty of Production Engineering at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, which are held every 5 years. During the academic year, 2-3 seminar meetings are held. These meetings are concerned with three thematic groups related to the activities of Division members:

  • scientific topics – discussion of current research and results of finished research,
  • organization of science and research – e.g., reports on trips and internships abroad,
  • practical achievements and applications of agricultural engineering – for example, discussion of trends in the development of agricultural machinery based on a visit to international agricultural technology exhibitions.

These meetings enable the exchange of ideas and experiences, especially because among the members of the Division are employees of other scientific institutions, such as the Institute of Agrophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the University of Siedlce, and Lublin University of Technology. Members of PSAE Lublin are also involved in the affairs of the Faculty of Production Engineering and initiate a variety of scientific and teaching activities.
