From 10 to 12 June 2026, the XIII Scientific Symposium Farm Machinery and Process Management in Sustainable Agriculture was held in Bari, Italy. The symposium was organized by the University of Bari Aldo Moro in cooperation with the Department of Machinery Exploitation and Production Process Management of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, the Walloon Agricultural Research Centre, the Italian Society of Agricultural Engineering, and the Lublin Branch of the Polish Society of Agricultural Engineering.

The symposium brought together 55 researchers from Austria, Belgium, Estonia, Italy, Poland, and Ukraine. The scientific programme focused on sustainable agriculture, Agriculture 4.0, modern agricultural technologies and production processes, energy use in agriculture, as well as measurement methods and assessment of sustainable production systems.

The event provided an excellent platform for presenting the latest research results, exchanging scientific knowledge, and strengthening international cooperation among researchers and institutions. The book of abstracts was published by the University of Bari, while the full papers, following the peer-review process, will be published in the Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering series by Springer, indexed in Scopus.
