Herpetology with elements of herpetoculture

General information:

Herpetology with elements of herpetoculture course covers 1 semester and 15didactic hours.

Lectures and classes are in weekly intervals.
Students gain knowledge about evolution, biology and breeding of amphibians and reptiles.
Detailed rules of the classes and work safety will be described during the first class.

08.05 Animal welfare, terrarium types. Safe hibernation rules.
15.05 Anatomy and review of turtle species.
22.05 Anatomy and review of snake and lizard species.
29.05 Reptile nutrition.
  A visit to the exotarium in Lublin.
  A visit tothe Polesie National Park, Center for the protection of the European pond turtle.
