Dear Student,

we are pleased to welcome you to our webpage. Here you will find all necessary information concerning application and accommodation procedure, you will learn what courses we offer as well as whom you need to contact to consult your choice. You can plan your stay according to the academic calendar of our university and you can also find some key data that you will need to fill in the documents.

First of all, you need to check at your home university whether there is an Erasmus+ agreement with University of Life Sciences in Lublin within your area of studies.

While choosing the courses bear in mind that you should choose majority of the subjects from one faculty. You can choose additionally courses from other faculties. You have to remember that you will be assigned to only one leading Faculty, namely one Dean’s Office, where your Before, During and After the Mobility documents will be signed.

Once you have chosen all the courses you are interested in, make sure to consult your choice with your Faculty Coordinator. In order to apply for Erasmus mobility for studies at University of Life Sciences in Lublin (ULS) You are obliged to fill in Online Learning Agreement for Studies (OLA).

Office for Students and Staff with Special Needs at University of Life Sciences in Lublin offers counselling and necessary assistance for people with disabilities and chronic diseases. It ensures that infrastructure facilities fully fit their needs and makes an effort to provide them with equal access to education. Lublin is the largest city in the eastern part of Poland. It can be easily reached by plane, bus, train and  a car.

By plane:

The closest one: Lublin Airport is located in the eastern part of the city, in the suburbs of Świdnik, close to  S12 expressway.

ACCESS TO LUBLIN FROM LUBLIN AIRPORT:

There is a regular rail and  buslink from Lublin Airport (the journey takes about 25-30 minutes).

The rail and bus station is situated in the airport terminal.

Train:

There is a direct train line running from Lublin Main Railway Station to Lublin Airport. One-way ticket from Lubin airport to Lublin Main Station is around 5.30 PLN and it can be purchased directly from the train conductor.

Bus:

You can choose a bus  operator: Przewozy24.pl, Garden Service and Galicja Express.
Przewozy24.pl.

The bus stop is in front of the Departure Hall. It departs from outside the Arrival Hall. Tickets are purchased from the bus driver.

Taxi:

Ask for a recommended taxi opartator (Damel Taxi) at the desk inside the terminal.

Main Railway Station:

It is situated to the south of the city centre, in Dworcowy Square.

Connections to the city centre are provided by:

  • buses001, 013, 025, 030, 034, 045,
  • trolleybus lines154, 161
  • and the night line

You can also reach there by lines 003, 006, 011, 017, 020, 025, 029 and by trolleybus line 160. Get off  at the Dworzec Główny PKP – Kunickiego 01 stop.

TAXI rank, private carriers’ bus and minibus services are to be found in front of the station.

There is also the PKS Southern Coach Station situated next to it.

A new metropolitan intermodal coach terminal with fully high-tech infrastructure is planned to be opened next to the existing railway station in mid-2022.

ACCESS TO LUBLIN FROM WARSAW:

By train:

You may travel from Warsaw (Warszawa Chopin Airport) to Lublin by train http://rozklad-pkp.pl/en.

To look for connections from Warsaw Chopin Airport to Lublin, type in from: Warszawa Lotnisko Chopina, to: Lublin (Lublin Główny). There is a change at Central Railway Station in Warsaw (Warszawa Centralna).

Bus:

Check major domestic and international bus lines, including FlixBusContbusEurolines, and Ecolines that provide bus connections to Lublin.

There are direct buses from Warsaw Chopin Airport (170 km – 2,5h) and Warsaw-Modlin Airport (210 km – 3h) to Lublin. These connections are operated by Contbus.

From Warsaw Chopin Airport to  Lublin:

By bus: Buses depart from bus terminal at the airport, bay no 6 located 200 m from the terminal (when you exit the terminal, turn right).

From Warsaw Modlin Airport to Lublin:

The bus stop is located right next to the airport terminal timetables.

Local transport

Lublin has a good network of buses and trolleybuses, which connects the city centre with all parts of the city. Tickets are available at newsagent’s (“kiosk”), ticket machines on the bus  or at the bus  stop or directly from the driver. Tickets must be validated as soon as you get on a bus or a trolleybus. The single ticket costs around PLN 3.20 (at newsagent’s and ticket machines) or PLN 4.00 when you buy it from the driver.

You can pick up a taxi either from a taxi rank or by calling a taxi service
