GRADES:

University of Life Sciences in Lublin uses the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) to  provide students with transparency of learning outcomes and learning processes. Its purpose is to enhance planning, delivery, evaluation, recognition and validation of qualifications and units of learning as well as student mobility. 

 

The  student is awarded  a certain number of ECTS credits  for each course which reflects  the workload necessary to successfully complete  the course. Credits  are awarded only to students who successfully fulfilled the course requirements (the details of assessment methods attached to each course unit).

1 full academic year  =  60 credits

1 semester  = 30 credits

The University awards the degrees:

magister inżynier (equivalent to Master’s),

inżynier (equivalent to Bachelor’s) 

lekarz weterynarii ( D.V.M. – Doctor of Veterinary Medicine)

RECOGNITION OF MOBILITY ACHIEVEMENTS:
University of Life  Sciences in Lublin has committed itself to ensure that all credits (based on the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System – ECTS) gained for learning outcomes satisfactorily achieved during a period of study/training abroad will be fully and automatically recognised on condition that it was agreed so previously in a learning agreement and confirmed in the Transcript of Records/Traineeship Certificate. In case of incoming students, evaluation of students achievements during studies/traineeship is provided to incoming student/their Institutional Erasmus Coordinator in the form of Transcript of Records/Traineeship Certificate at the end of mobility period and within timeline defined in inter-institutional agreement. On completing the semester in ULS students come back to their home institution where they have all the courses successfully completed in ULS duly recognised at their University based on Transcript of Records/Traineeship Certificate provided by ULS.
