Frontal lectures (15 h per semester) cover the veterinary history, rules and obligations of veterinary surgeon. There are no practical classes. The course aims to present students with information concerning veterinary history, its development and achievements from Antiquity until today as well as instilling passion and pride for their future profession. Students also obtain essential information on professional ethics as well as rights and obligations of veterinary surgeon in contemporary professional and social life. Learning outcomes  – gained skills and competencies: ability to employ knowledge of history and achievements of veterinary medicine, familiarity with professional ethics as well as rights and obligations concerning practice of the veterinary surgeon profession, professional conduct according to principles of ethics and obligations of veterinary surgeon in the future. Lectures are in lecture hall and Museum of Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture and open-air museum in Ciechanowiec.
