General information:

Students acquire knowledge of the basics of animal production, Breeding and Husbandry livestock species (poultry, cattle, pigs, horses, sheep, goats). Subject includes characterization of races and genetic and environmental factors shaping the animal’s utility value.

Course covers 1 semester and 45 didactic hours.

Lectures (15 h) are in weekly intervals during 15 consecutive weeks 1 h each.

Attendance at lectures is optional.

Classes (30 h) are obligatory and are in weekly intervals during 15 consecutive weeks 2h each.

Detailed classes rules will be described during the first class or sent via e-mail before. White coat is required for practical classes.
