Project Outcomes and Results

Immediate Results:

  1. Development of IIEP documentation (specialized course in agricultural and food engineering in the context of green and digital transformation)
  2. Conducting a pilot edition of the aforementioned IIEP for 40 participants/check
  3. Incorporating the aforementioned IIEP into University of Life Sciences in Lublin permanent offering before the project’s completion
  4. Acquisition of knowledge and competencies in the field of IIEP, confirmed by micro-credentials, by at least 38 participants
  5. Increasing the participation of foreign students, doctoral students, and research staff in University of Life Sciences in Lublin education programs
  6. Improving the competencies of University of Life Sciences in Lublin staff in the areas of data analysis, forecasting, and machine learning, as well as digital visualization of machine elements involved in production processes and on farms
  7. Improving the competencies of the project team in the development and launch of IIEP (including participant recruitment, training modules, verification of learning outcomes, organizational and provisioning aspects, and cost structure) and disseminating this knowledge among University of Life Sciences in Lublin employees
  8. Implementation of the system at University of Life Sciences in Lublin and internal regulations, including in the field of micro-credentials, enabling the implementation of subsequent IIEPs.

Intermediate results:

  1. Increased interest in University of Life Sciences in Lublin educational offerings and related research among young scientists from abroad
  2. Increased knowledge and interest in Poland, Polish culture, and language among young scientists from abroad
  3. Established new scientific contacts that will lead to further mobilities, joint projects, and publications
  4. Increased openness of University of Life Sciences in Lublin staff to launching further IIEP and other international educational programs
  5. Enhanced internationalization of University of Life Sciences in Lublin

Long-term effects:

  1. Further increase in the participation of foreign students, doctoral candidates, and academic staff in University of Life Sciences in Lublin educational programs
  2. Launching further IIEP and other international educational programs (e.g., joint degrees, double degrees) at University of Life Sciences in Lublin

The above-mentioned effects will contribute to the achievement of University of Life Sciences in Lublin goals, as well as the goals of Faculty of Production Engineering, specified in point II.2.3: a new, attractive, interdisciplinary form of education in English will create a space in which participants from Poland and abroad will not only improve their knowledge and competences in areas relevant to changes in the EU economy and policy, but will also establish valuable contacts that may result in future international cooperation in teaching, research, and further mobility. All of these activities will translate into increased internationalization of University of Life Sciences in Lublin.
