On June 21-23, 2024. The University of Life Sciences in Lublin took part in Polonia Meetings in London – meetings of universities with Polish youth. More than a dozen universities from all over Poland took part, offering education in Polish and English. The event was co-organized by NAWA, the National Agency for Academic Exchange, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in London and Polska Macierz Szkolna.

Our University was represented by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education, dr hab. Urszula Kosior-Korzecka, Associate Professor, vice-dean for student affairs and education of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, prof. dr hab. Aneta Nowakiewicz, dr inż. Magdalena Sozoniuk, from the Institute of Plant Genetics, Breeding and Biotechnology, Faculty of Agrobioengineering, and mgr Katarzyna Krzaczkowska from the Admission and Promotion Department.

On June 21, dr hab. Urszula Kosior-Korzecka, Associate Professor and prof. dr hab. Aneta Nowakiewicz took part in a meeting at the British Council, which gathered not only representatives of Polish universities, but also representatives of the British side.

On June 22, there was a meeting with Polish youth at the Polish Letters Academy, and on June 23, our delegation took part in a picnic in Ravenscourt Park, organized by the Polish Social and Cultural Association in London. These meetings were a great opportunity to exchange experiences, but also to share our educational offer internationally, or to meet graduates of our University abroad.
