The aim of the trip was to use vegetable pomace as an innovative addition to meat products. During the internship I prepared a local meat product (Ćevapi) enriched with tomato pomace. The product was then subjected to physicochemical and sensory analyses.

During the internship, in addition to performing planned tasks, I had the opportunity to get acquainted with employees and doctoral students employed at the University as well as to see the equipment of this unit. I paid particular attention to modern equipment for assessing the color of meat products with different physical properties (computer vision system).

The internship was also an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences and deepen knowledge about meat technology as well as the opportunity to learn new research techniques. The stay resulted in very interesting results, opportunities to meet young, interesting people and establish cooperation.

It was a great time that allowed me to develop personally and scientifically.
