From 01/04/2022 to 30/06/2022 I was in an internship at the Instituto de Investigación Biomédica in Coruña (Spain).

The aim of the internship was to learn molecular biology methods and techniques, in particular RT-PCR, Real-Time PCR, mitochondrial DNA haplotype analysis, Sanger and NGS sequencing as well as cell and tissue culture methods

Thanks to my internship supervisor: Ms. Mercedes Fernández Moreno, PhD I had the opportunity to extend my own research and verify my research hypotheses by analysing the mitochondrial gene expression profile in dogs with mammary gland tumours. Performing the pilot research and acquiring the skills of transcriptomic analyses was a valuable and valuable experience that developed my scientific workshop.
