The internship took place at University of Valencia from 21/03/2022 to 31/07/2022 with the Erasmus+ program support.
The internship was carried out at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Department of Preventive Medicine, Public Health, Food Sciences, Toxicology and Legal Medicine under the supervision of Associate Professor Lary Manyes.
The aim of the internship was the scientific competences improvement and to extend theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of food technology.
As a trainee, I had an opportunity to participate in several parts of various projects conducted with other universities support.
My main task was to work in the laboratory with Coco-2 cell line.
The in vivo project was carried out on rats. The influence of pumpkin puree and milk proteins on mycotoxin was evaluated. The rodents were fed an appropriate period of time with specially composed diets and organ were collected for further research.
