“Consumer of Organic Food in the Visegrad Group Countries” –project launch meeting

Between 17th and 19th November 2023, a kick-off meeting will be held at the Poznań University of Life Sciences as part of the “Consumer of Organic Food in the Visegrad Group Countries” project.

The aim of the meeting is to discuss current issues related to the initiation of research on identifying and comparing the characteristics of organic food consumers, their purchasing decisions, and behaviour in the region of the Visegrad Group countries.

The project consortium includes the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, the University of Life Sciences in Poznań, the College of Polytechnics Jihlava (Czech Republic), the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague (Czech Republic), the University of Economics in Bratislava (Slovakia) and the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (Hungary).

The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
