Between September  14, 2021 – November  14, 2021 I have done an internship at Ansbach University of Applied Sciences (Germany).

Microbological lab

The aim of the internship was to acquire new competences, as well as to build and develop the recently started cooperation between the Ansbach University of Applied Sciences and the University of Life Sciences in Lublin.

The internship consisted of two stages:

  1. The first stage was to study the effect of selected extracts from shiitake mushroom and oyster mushroom on the 3T3 cell line (study of the cytotoxicity of the extracts used on the 3T3 lines, as well as the assessment of the effect of these substances on the differentiation of adipocytes).
  2. The second stage of the internship was the project, which was part of the cooperation between the Ansbach University of Applied Sciences and the industry. During this experiment, I investigated the effect of galactooligosaccharides supplied by the industry on the growth of selected species of probiotic and pathogenic bacteria in yogurt.
