    This course of studies combines management and the engineering aspects of production. The programme includes both subjects related to management ( e.g. marketing, management, management of production and services, human resource management) and production engineering ( e.g. engineering design, engineering graphics, production processes, automation and robotics in manufacturing, machine exploitation, thermal engineering, refrigeration, packaging). You will attain extensive education in engineering and technical sciences with the background in management.

    The unique curriculum and individual approach to the student lead to the growing number of graduates – desired experts on the labour market – especially as management staff in manufacturing companies and service providers, public administration institutions, designing and consulting companies.

    A graduate of Management and Production Engineering programme has both general and specialist knowledge of management, economics and organization of production engineering.

    • Practical classes are conducted in manufacturing  and trading  companies  as well as  service providers,
    • Practical classes in didactic laboratories equipped with high-tech apparatus,
    • Specialist courses e.g. Auto CAD 2D Drawing and Auto CAD 3D Modeling,
    • Scientific circles and student organisations enable students  to develop their interests. 

     

  • Description of a graduate's profile

    After graduation, students possess general knowledge in the selected scope of management and production engineering, as well as related sciences, which involves the functioning and development of business organisations. Furthermore, they possess managerial skills and the ability to actively participate in management processes, as well as the creation and execution of complex projects both in and outside of the work environment. They are prepared to solve problems in the selected area of management and production engineering. They can assume managerial and specialist positions in small, medium and large companies involved in the selected area of production management or engineering. They will find employment in design and consulting entities, as well as other business and administrative units. The graduates have the knowledge of a foreign language at the B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages developed by the Council of Europe, as well as a specialist language related to their field of study. Moreover, they are instilled with the habit of continuing education and prepared to pursue further studies.
