Riding Facility

The Department of Horse Breeding and Use with Riding Facility certified by Polish Equestrian Federation and operating under the laws of scientific-didactical stations

Eight research-didactic workers and three engineer-technical specialists are engaged in the Department. The research is focused on the utility, behaviour, emotional excitability and stress in race, athlete, leisure and primitive horses as well as inheritance of coat colours in horses. The educational classes are held mainly for students of stationary studies at the 1st and 2nd degrees of the following fields of studies: Horse Science and Riding, Animal Care and Therapy, Animal Behavioural Science and Animal Breeding. The practical classes are conducted with the use of 26 riding and draught horses and ponies.
