The project includes three tasks

  1. Launching the project and recruiting participants for mobility form ULSL and abroad (October 2025 – March 2026)

The start of accepting applications for departures/arrivals is planned for December this year (the application form template will be available then). The condition for participation in the recruitment process will be completing and submitting to the project office:

  • an application form containing, among other things, information about the candidate’s motivation and achievements to date, research interests, expected outcomes of mobility and the competences/skills acquired as a result, planned activities aimed at disseminating the results of mobility among the wider academic community,
  • a statement of foreign language proficiency at a minimum level of B2,
  • a supervisor’s opinion (in the case of doctoral students),
  • a letter/e-mail from the host institution confirming the possibility of accepting the candidate.

Mobility will take place between January and September 2026.

  1. Implementation of mobility within the project (January – September 2026)

The project plans for 70 short-term mobility periods (5 to 30 days), including:

  • 50 trips abroad (for 35 doctoral students and 15 ULSL employees),
  • 20 visits to ULSL (for 15 doctoral students and 5 employees from abroad).

The aim of mobility is to acquire/improve the competences of participants, through:

  • active participation in conferences abroad;
  • acquisition of materials for doctoral dissertation and scientific articles;
  • participation in summer schools and winter schools;
  • taking measurements using unique equipment, testing research equipment;
  • participation in courses, including intensive courses included in the education process, workshops, professional or industrial internships, study visits, including those carried out at entrepreneurs;
  • conducting archival or library or library searches;
  • conducting classes;
  • participation in the preparation of an international grant application.

Participants in exchanges will be entitled to a scholarship, a lump sum for travel, living and accommodation expenses, and reimbursement of part of the costs associated with participation in the above-mentioned activities (e.g., conference participation fee, training costs – up to PLN 2,500 per trip).

  1. Verification of learning outcomes achieved by participants in mobility programs (February – September 2026)

The project will involve systematic verification of the learning outcomes of mobility participants in three areas: knowledge, skills, and social competences, as defined in the Learning Outcomes Charter. This process will include planning, evaluation, and confirmation of the results achieved, as well as their dissemination within the ULSL academic community. This will ensure high quality, measurability, and transparency of the project results, as well as full use of the potential of mobility in the development of participants’ competences.
