University of Life Sciences in Lublin becomes a member of the European University Association (EUA)

The University of Life Sciences in Lublin has been admitted as a member of the European University Association (EUA) – the largest organization representing universities in Europe, which has been supporting their cooperation for many years.

Membership in the EUA offers our University the opportunity to actively participate in international projects, thematic networks, and initiatives that foster the development of science, education, and innovation. Thanks to this, the University of Life Sciences in Lublin gains new opportunities for growth in key areas such as quality of education, sustainable development, open science, doctoral education, and institutional autonomy.

The EUA plays a key role in shaping European policy in the areas of higher education, research, and innovation. Through cooperation with numerous European and international institutions, it ensures that the voice of European universities is heard in decision-making processes concerning the future of the academic sector.

The organization was established in 2001 as a result of the merger between the Association of European Universities and the Confederation of European Union Rectors’ Conferences. Today, it brings together over 900 universities, national rectors’ conferences, and partner organizations and networks from 48 European countries, as well as affiliated entities from outside Europe.

For more than two decades, the EUA has been supporting the creation of a community of universities across Europe, building a coherent system of higher education and research. It provides its members with opportunities to exchange information, experiences, and best practices, and represents the academic sector at the most important social and political forums – including the European Commission and the European Parliament.
