Representatives of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin participated in NAFSA 2026 – the world’s largest conference and exhibition dedicated to international education and global academic cooperation. This year’s event, held in Orlando, USA, brought together more than 10,000 participants from over 100 countries, 350 exhibitors, and organizers of more than 200 program sessions.

The University’s participation in the event was made possible thanks to the support of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). The University presented its educational offer and international cooperation opportunities at the Polish national pavilion under the “Study & Research in Poland” brand.

During the conference, the University representatives – dr hab. Urszula Kosior-Korzecka, prof. uczelni, mgr Agnieszka Wasilak and lek. wet. Bartłomiej Szymczak took part in numerous meetings focused on international student recruitment and the development of academic partnerships, including cooperation within the Erasmus+ programme. The event also provided an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences and strengthen relationships with partner institutions from around the world.

One of the highlights of the conference opening was the opportunity to meet Dr. Fanta Aw, Executive Director and CEO of NAFSA. In her inspiring remarks, she emphasized that “education was always global by nature” and that “international education is fundamental to the future we want to build.”
