New internationalisation initiatives under the NAWA project “Together from Day One”
Intercultural workshops, professional adaptation support for international students based, among other things, on instructional videos, and a promotional campaign targeting key recruitment markets are just some of the many activities planned as part of a project supporting internationalisation at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, which will start on 1 May 2026.
The University of Life Sciences in Lublin has been selected as one of the beneficiaries of this year’s edition of the Welcome to Poland Programme 2025, implemented by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). The awarded funding, in the maximum requested amount of PLN 313,867, will be used to implement the project “Together from Day One – Support for International Community at ULSL”, which aims to provide comprehensive support for international students and applicants, as well as to develop staff competences in the field of internationalisation.
“Through this project we aim to build a welcoming, professional and multicultural academic environment at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin. We will undertake activities that support the adaptation of international students, intensify the University’s promotion on the international stage, and strengthen the competences of our staff, particularly those involved in the day-to-day work with applicants and students,” said Agnieszka Wasilak, Head of the Recruitment and Promotion Office and the project manager.
All activities within the project will be carried out until the end of April 2028.
