From April 20–24, 2026, Professor Monika Florescu visited the University of Life Sciences in Lublin at the invitation of our university’s Doctoral School. She represented Transilvania University of Brasov in Romania, the Faculty of Medicine, and the Department of Fundamental, Prophylactic, and Clinical Disciplines.

The visit was financed by the NAWA STER project “Actions towards the internationalization of the Doctoral School of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin (ISDUPL)” as part of the “School of Champions” task. The initiative aims to invite distinguished representatives of the scientific community representing various research disciplines. Their participation involves conducting specialized classes, seminars, and workshops for doctoral students, which facilitates the expansion of knowledge, development of research competencies, and enables direct contact with recognized authorities in their fields.

The foreign guest was supervised by Dr. Arkadiusz Matwijczuk, a university professor, and Klaudia Rząd, M.A., from the Department of Biophysics, University of Life Sciences in Lublin.

As part of Professor Monika Florescu’s visit, the following events took place:

  4. Public lecture during “5th International PhD Students’ Conference: Environment-Plant-Animal-Product”, title: “How Nanomaterials Help Detect and Deliver Molecules”
