Presentation of Veterinary Medicine diplomas to graduates
The presentation of Veterinary Medicine diplomas to graduates of the Veterinary Medicine Faculty at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin took place on 28 June 2025.
The event was attended by the Rector of the ULSL Krzysztof Kowalczyk, PhD, DSc, ProfTit, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education Urszula Kosior-Korzecka, PhD, DSc, Associate Professor and the year supervisor Małgorzata Kapica, PhD, DSc. The audience was well attended by family members and friends of the graduates.
The ceremony was presided over by the Dean of the Veterinary Medicine Faculty Aneta Nowakiewicz, PhD, DVM, ProfTit and the Vice-Dean for Clinic Łukasz Adaszek, PhD, DVM, ProfTit.
The event’s programme included the oath of Veterinary Medicine Doctor, symbolising the entry of young Veterinary Medicine students into the professional ranks. This was followed by a lecture entitled “The role of the veterinary surgeon in biomedical research”, delivered by Joanna Wessely-Szponder, PhD, DSc, Associate Professor.
During the ceremony, diplomas were presented to graduates as well as foreign graduates studying in English, in addition awards and prizes for the most outstanding graduates were presented. A representation of the newly graduated Veterinary surgeons also spoke, expressing their gratitude to the lecturers, families and the entire academic community for their support along the path of education. The ceremony ended with a joint singing of the traditional “Gaudeamus igitur”.
