The University of Life Sciences in Lublin is joining a nationwide initiative called “Pink Box”, the aim of which is to support people in a difficult financial situation in accessing hygiene products. Special boxes have appeared in all university faculties, in which free pads and tampons are available. The initiative aims to provide psychological comfort and support to people who may have difficulty buying these basic hygiene products.

The aim of this campaign is not only to provide practical help, but also to draw attention to the issues of health and equal opportunities, which are particularly important in the academic environment.

The “Pink Box” initiative is part of a number of university activities aimed at building an inclusive, supportive environment for all students. Help is available to anyone who needs it, regardless of their financial situation. In this way, the university wants to contribute to eliminating barriers that may hinder the daily functioning of people in a difficult financial situation.
