Our students and doctoral students are winners of the Municipal Scholarship Programme for students and doctoral students

The winners of the 15th edition of the Competition for the Best Dissertation and the Municipal Scholarship Programme for students and doctoral students received their diplomas and awards from the hands of the Mayor of Lublin, Krzysztof Żuk, on 13 February 2025.

We are pleased to announce that the third distinction in the competition for the best thesis was awarded to Karol Michał Tyrka for his engineering thesis entitled ‘Possibilities of locating waste incinerators in urbanised areas on the example of Lublin’. The thesis was supervised by Beata Ferencz, BEng, PhD, from the Department of Landscape Ecology and Nature Protection at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin.

Two students were among this year’s scholarship recipients of the Mayor of Lublin: Dawid Ramotowski and Rozalia Sowisz, as well as doctoral student Anna Krajewska.
