Memorandum of Understanding with the Technical University of Varna

A meeting was held to sign a cooperation agreement between the University of Life Sciences in Lublin and the Technical University of Varna (Bulgaria) on 29 January 2025.

On behalf of ULSL, the agreement has been signed by the Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation – Bartosz Sołowiej, PhD, DSc, ProfTit. The meeting was also attended by Edmund Lorencowicz PhD, DSc, ProfTit – Head of the Department of Management of Agriculture Machines and Eco-Energetic Systems and Marlena Wosiak – Coordinator of the International Projects Office.

Varna Technical University was represented by Svilen Stoyanov, BEng, PhD, DSc, Head of Dobrudzha Technological College in Dobrich. Steliyana Hristova, a doctoral student from the Agricultural Academy in Sofia, also attended the meeting.

The Technical University of Varna is recognised as a leader in interdisciplinary research in the areas of computational bioacoustics, renewable energy technology, higher education teaching, and research service of international scope.

Agricultural Academy deals with issues related to applied scientific research, innovation and educational activities in the field of agriculture and food. Its primary goal is the sustainable development of the agricultural sector through knowledge and innovation.

The cooperation will certainly be of mutual benefit and will serve to enhance enduring ties between the two institutions.
