Let’s decorate the Christmas tree together! A fair of unique products, Christmas workshops, competitions, hot chocolate and the already iconic ULSL gingerbread cookies await you. The Christmas event entitled ‘Merry Christmas – exchange of Christmas and New Year’s traditions’ will be held on 6 December 2024 at the Collegium Agronomicum II building. We invite students, staff and doctoral students to spend time together in a festive atmosphere. We especially invite our international students.

A Christmas market prepared by our students and staff will be launched on the ground floor of AGRO II building from 10 am. It’s the perfect place to find a unique gift from Santa.

A workshop for international students on making Christmas decorations, including traditional ones, will also begin at 10 am.

The decoration of the university’s Christmas tree (also with ornaments made during the workshop) and the symbolic lighting of the lights in the presence of the Rector’s Authorities will take place at 12 am. We will also hold a competition for the ugliest sweater and a student presentation of Christmas/New Year’s traditions. We will be able to take part in a mini-concert of Christmas carols and pastorals, thanks to the Jawor Song and Dance Ensemble.

You are welcome to attend the event in themed clothing. Delicious gingerbread cookies with the logo of ULSL will be waiting for everyone who visits us with a festive touch (whether clothes or accessories such as earrings, armbands or scarves). You are also welcome to treat yourself to some winter drinks: hot chocolate and tea.

The Student Photographic Academy invites you to enjoy a festive session on a specially prepared background. Those wishing to do so will be able to have their photo taken electronically or even printed.
