INVITATION TO LUBLIN SOUND SCIENCE – A CITIZEN SCIENCE PROJECT
Dear students,
We would strongly encourage you to take part in the project ” Lublin Sound Science – a citizen science project” – LEAFLET
You will explore the Sounds of Lublin and win attractive prizes! The project is organized by the University of Life Sciences in Lublin. It involves interesting workshops held in Lublin areas and lectures with experts in the fields of environmental engineering and spatial planning.
Data collected during the practical part of the project will help in researching environmental noise pollution and will help characterize Lublin’s soundscape.
The project takes the form of a competition – by engaging in the research, you have a chance to win attractive prizes worth a total of 8000 PLN.
In the FORM you choose a preferred day of the week in May and the time of workshops. The workshops will be held in English.

The opening project ceremony will be held on April 10 in Polish. However, a separate group of foreign participants will be formed so you will get the chance to learn all information regarding the project in English. The event will finish with refreshments and a get-together of all the participants.
The project is fully funded by funds obtained through the “Academic Lublin” Competition organized by the City of Lublin.
