International Student Day 2025 at the Faculty of Animal Sciences and Bioeconomy

The Faculty of Animal Sciences and Bioeconomy celebrated International Students’ Day on 18 November 2025. It was an opportunity to learn about the history and interesting facts related to the faculty, as well as to present the research clubs operating within its structure.

Quizzes about the faculty were prepared for students, and the highlight of the day was the announcement of the winners of the best poster competition. Ten entries were submitted by academic clubs and sections, presenting their activities and the specific interests of individual groups.

After the votes were counted by the competition committee:

  • first place went to the Student Research Club of the Faculty of Animal Sciences and Bioeconomy – Equine Section,
  • second place went to the Student Research Club of the Faculty of Animal Sciences and Bioeconomy – Sheep and Goat Breeding Section,
  • third place went to the Student Research Club of the Faculty of Animal Sciences and Bioeconomy – Agricultural Advisory Section, the Student Research Club of Animal Nutrition and Bromatology, the MSKN Animal Genetics and the Student Research Club of Animal Therapy and Zoopsychology.

The student community voted for the best posters presenting the activities of scientific clubs and sections, which turned out to be:

  • first place – Student Scientific Club of Biology, Poultry Breeding and Utilisation,
  • second place – Student Research Club for Animal Nutrition and Bromatology,
  • third place – Student Research Club for Animal Therapy and Zoopsychology.

The posters that took part in the competition will be displayed in the corridors of the Faculty of Animal Sciences and Bioeconomy.
