Invitation to Individual Career Coaching for International PhD Students, Researchers, and their Families

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite international PhD students, researchers, and their family members to participate in individual career advisory sessions as part of the project “AIM – Attracting International Minds. Lublin NAWA-EURAXESS Network.”

• Location: UMCS Competence Development Office, Sowińskiego 12, room 26
• Dates: First edition will be conducted from 8 June 2026 to 30 July 2026.
• Certified Career Advisor: mgr Małgorzata Czarnomska

About the Sessions:

These individual coaching and advisory sessions are designed to create a professional institutional environment and establish a stable framework for the development of scientific careers in the Lublin region. The support is tailored to bridge the gap between academic expertise and the requirements of the Polish and international R&D sectors.

Objectives:

• Professional Adaptation: Supporting the integration process into the regional scientific and educational community.
• Professionalization of Competences: Diagnosing and developing skills necessary for effective functioning in the labor market.
• Integration Support: Providing advice on building relationships with regional institutions, including the Lublin City Hall and non-governmental organizations.

The Effect: what you will achieve?

Participation in the sessions will result in:

• A comprehensive assessment of your professional potential.
• The creation of professional application documents (CV, portfolio) aligned with Polish recruitment standards.
• Identification of and connection with institutional support networks.
• A personalized list of strategic recommendations for industry events, training, and internships.

We invite international doctoral students, researchers, and their families from the following partner universities to apply:

• Medical University of Lublin (UMLub)

The number of places is limited to approximately 15 people and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The specific date and time for each session will be determined through individual consultations with eligible participants. Sessions can be held in English or Polish, depending on your preference.
