Biologists’ Night 2025

The Faculty of Environmental Biology of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin will host the next edition of the Biologists’ Night on 10 January 2025. The organizers have prepared many interesting presentations and interactive booths. The motto of this year’s edition is: “The biology of climate change: warmed … losers?”.

Biologists’ Night is a joint venture of the biological and natural science departments of Polish universities, colleges and botanical gardens. Its mission is to share the biological knowledge of top Polish scientists and arouse the interest of potential future students.

The programme includes:

– The magical world of plants. Aromas and plant-based dyes. Osmotic phenomena,
– tissues and cells through the lens of a microscope,
– invertebrates and aquatic plants,
– bird feeding in winter in practice and other interesting facts of bird life,
– exotic invertebrates and vertebrates,
– insects and climate warming.
