ACTT4Cosmetics Project Partners Met in Lublin

Between 6–8 October 2025, the next meeting of the ACTT4Cosmetics project – Actions for Citizen awareness and Twin Transition in the entire cosmetics value chain – took place in Lublin, Poland. The event was hosted by the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, with the support of the Marshal’s Office of the Lublin Region. It brought together representatives of partner organizations from France, Italy, Portugal, and Poland, and focused on reviewing the progress achieved so far and discussing the next stages of project implementation.

Meeting at the Marshal’s Office of the Lublin Region

The working sessions were held at the Marshal’s Office of the Lublin Region, located at 4 Artura Grottgera Street in Lublin. During the first part of the meeting, partners presented updates on the progress of individual Work Packages. The participants also met with Ms. Joanna Blajerska, representing the Marshal’s Office, to discuss the role of Lublin and the Lublin Region as a growing scientific and industrial hub in the fields of biotechnology and cosmetology.

In the afternoon, the partners established the schedule for upcoming activities and discussed the project’s internal communication and dissemination strategy.

Visit to the University of Life Sciences Laboratories

The second part of the day was dedicated to a study visit to the laboratories of the Faculty of Food Science and Biotechnology at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, located at 8 Skromna Street. Guests had the opportunity to explore the university’s modern research infrastructure and learn more about ongoing scientific projects in the field of food biotechnology.

Visit to Laboratoria Natury

On 8 October, the participants visited Laboratoria Natury Sp. z o.o., a dietary supplements manufacturer based in Lublin. During the visit, company representatives presented their production facilities and discussed the process of developing innovative products within the contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) model. The visit provided valuable insights into how scientific and industrial expertise can work hand in hand to support innovation and sustainability in the cosmetics and nutraceutical sectors.

Lublin on the European Innovation Map

The meeting in Lublin marked another important milestone in the implementation of the ACTT4Cosmetics project and confirmed the active role of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin and the Lublin Region in European research collaboration. By combining academic potential, state-of-the-art research infrastructure, and the dynamism of local enterprises, Lublin is increasingly recognized as a center of sustainable innovation in the cosmetics sector in Europe.
