Victory of University of Life Sciences in Lublin team in a canoeing regatta

On  June 4th 2017 students of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin won the canoeing regatta organized in Serniki District. It was the fourth edition to follow the example of famous Oxford – Cambridge regatta and the third victory of University of Life Sciences in Lublin since 2014.

Co-organizers of the regatta were: Serniki District, LGD (Local Activity Group) Association “Doliną Wieprza i Leśnym Szlakiem” and Authorities of Lubartów County.

The University of Life Sciences in Lublin competed with Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. It won in general classification obtaining 10 points against 8 points of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in both women’s and mixed crews. Maria Curie-Skłodowska University won in men’s crews.

The crews of University of Life Sciences in Lublin were represented by students of the following faculties: Agrobioengineering, Veterinary Medicine, Biology, Animal Sciences and Bioeconomy and Production Engineering.
