    The goal of creating a new Green Urban Planning programme of study is to integrate the areas of knowledge previously treated separately – ie. landscape architecture, gardening, spatial planning, architecture, urban planning and environmental protection. Completion of studies will enable graduates to work on Polish and world markets in such areas as: city administration, landscape architecture offices, urban offices, large real estate development companies, independent design studios and also innovative enterprises and recently popular start-ups. 
     
    In the education programme of the studies, an important role is played in the shaping of the environment and landscape, focused on integrated architectural and urban planning solutions, pro-ecological, high landscape and technical values. This goal is achieved through the implementation of education modules in the system of full-time second-cycle studies conducted over three semesters.
     
  • Career perspectives

    Graduates of the Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture are often employed in public administration offices, design offices, and have the right to set up their own design companies;
     
    We prioritize practical experience:  
     
    –  field trips are planned in the study programme, tailored to the subject of classes;
    – contact with specialists in the field of spatial planning, landscape architecture and plant science can focus on the field of individual interests;
    –  there are scientific circles in the department related to landscape architecture and art.
