The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin took part in<\/p>\n

\u00a0EduBus science outreach event, this time held in Che\u0142m.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

During the event, representatives of the Faculty prepared practical demonstrations designed to introduce young people to selected aspects of veterinary medicine.<\/p>\n

Bart\u0142omiej Szymczak, DVM<\/strong>, presented the basics of wound suturing using synthetic skin pads. The demonstration allowed students to see
\nhow manual skills, precision and knowledge of tissue handling are used in medical and veterinary practice.<\/p>\n

Monika Ma\u0107kowiak-Dryka, DVM, PhD<\/strong>, conducted a sensory analysis demonstration, during which students had the opportunity
\nto test the sensitivity of their sense of taste and learn how sensory perception can be examined in a scientific and practical context.<\/p>\n

The Faculty\u2019s participation in the EduBus initiative is part of its broader mission to promote science, support young people in making informed educational choices and present veterinary medicine as a field combining clinical practice, laboratory work, biological sciences and direct engagement with society.<\/p>\n

\n

Such meetings are an opportunity to show that studying at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is not limited to theoretical knowledge. It also involves practical skills, curiosity, critical thinking and the ability to apply scientific methods to real-life problems.<\/p>\n
