The research aims to establish a&nbsp;scientific basis for the operation of a&nbsp;constructed wetland system for sewage sludge disposal, based on the use of various filter materials and selected plant species. It is assumed that the use of this sludge disposal technology will reduce the operating costs of domestic wastewater treatment plants and eliminate the need to transport sewage sludge to collective (municipal) treatment plants.
