The hosts of the meeting will be: Radek V\u00e1vra, Kamil Hol\u00fd, Kate\u0159ina Bagarov\u00e1 and Vladan Falta from the Association of Fruit Growers (Biosad, Czech Republic), Jana Ou\u0159edn\u00ed\u010dkov\u00e1 and Michal SKALSK\u00dd from the Research and Breeding Fruit Institute Holovousy S.R.O. (VSUO, Czech Republic).<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>WORKSHOP-DAY <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the study visit, members of the Consortium will continue working on invasive pest species \u2013 the San Jos\u00e9 scale (SJS). During this meeting, issues related to situation with SJS in the Czechia will be discussed &#8211; distribution, damage, SJS monitoring and methods of control in IPM and organic orchards, number of generations dependent on the altitude, role of natural enemies and a practical training on the natural enemies identification.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>NETWORKING-DAY <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Consortium Partners will take part in field trips to fruit farms, where they will have the opportunity to collect plant material infested by the San Jos\u00e9 Scale for analysis and discussion with growers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>One of the goals of the study visit is to exchange the knowledge and experiences between Project Partners and work on the &#8220;Practical guide on SJS monitoring and management in V4 region\u201d.
