Representatives of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin at the \u201cForeign Students in Lublin\u201d conference<\/h2>\n

\u00a0\u201cForeign students in Lublin \u2013 the potential of experience and new perspectives\u201d is a conference held at the Maria Curie-Sk\u0142odowska University on 5 December 2024, in which representatives of our University participated, both as speakers and listeners.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"Among the speakers were:<\/p>\n

In session IV \u2013 International academic cooperation in the global and European educational and research space \u2013 experiences and new perspectives, Urszula Kosior-Korzecka, PhD, DSc, Associate Professor, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Didactics. This session was also attended by Andrzej Szeptycki, ProfTit, Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Wojciech Karczewski, PhD, Director of the National Agency for Academic Exchange, Waldemar Siwi\u0144ski, President-Founder of the Educational Foundation \u201cPerspektywy\u201d and the Vice-Rectors of the Universities of Lublin, as well as Kseniia Smyrnova, ProfTit, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University and Mariusz Pop\u0142awski, PhD, DSc, ProfTit, Rector of the University of Bialystok.<\/p>\n

In session II \u2013 Support for foreign students, Agnieszka Wasilak, MA, Head of the Admissions and Promotion Department.<\/p>\n

In his speech, Andrzej Szeptycki, ProfTit, referred to the challenges facing Polish universities in the internationalization of education.<\/p>\n

The conference was also attended by representatives of the Admissions and Promotion Department, Kinga Tarchynska, MA, and Katarzyna Krzaczkowska, MA.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the meeting was to assess achievements, exchange experiences and identify prospects for the internationalization of higher education in Lublin, taking into account the priorities of the state and the changing world.<\/p>\n
