The main aim of the trip was the analysis of miRNA in sheep plasma in connection with inflammation (with increased levels of cytokines) during pregnancy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/up.lublin.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/ahs-staz-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-408599\" src=\"https:\/\/up.lublin.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/ahs-staz-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1500\" height=\"832\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">During the internship, I&nbsp;expanded my knowledge of molecular techniques, especially the RT-PCR method. The research was based mainly on the extraction of total RNA from sheep blood, selection of target microRNA\/mRNA and reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/up.lublin.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/ahs-staz-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-408603\" src=\"https:\/\/up.lublin.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/ahs-staz-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1500\" height=\"1022\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In addition to working in the laboratory, I&nbsp;had the opportunity to visit the beautiful capital of the Czech Republic. Prague is a&nbsp;very charming city located on the We\u0142tawa River. During my free time, I&nbsp;had the opportunity to walk across the Charles Bridge, visit the beautiful Prague Castle and the Cathedral of St. Vitus, as well as the Golden Lane and the Astronomical Clock. I&nbsp;also had the opportunity to visit the Prague Zoo.<\/p>\n<p>The internship at Charles University in Prague enabled me to improve my skills in planning experiments and expand my knowledge of molecular techniques. Moreover, I&nbsp;had the opportunity to meet many interesting people and work in an international team.
