Annual Christmas workshop for international students<\/strong><\/h2>\n

On 15 December 2023 our annual festive Christmas workshop on creating Christmas tree ornaments and decorations for international students and students of the Erasmus+ programme took place. The workshop was organized by the Admissions and Promotion Department and was co-financed by the International Exchange Office. The staff as well as the Heads of two offices attended the event and spent time with the students.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"a<\/a>\"a<\/a>\"a<\/a><\/p>\n

This was a great opportunity to integrate students from different parts of the world: Ireland, France, Turkey, Greece, Canada, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, etc. The workshop was conducted by a guest artist Ms. Agata Turchyn, who told the students about the traditions associated with Christmas in Poland and taught everyone how to make traditional Polish ornaments \u2013 paj\u0105ki. During the break, the students had the opportunity to taste Polish traditional Christmas dishes, such as borscht and dumplings, as well as tea with spices and hot chocolate, which were a pleasant accent while communicating and creating ornaments. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Christmas workshop was attended by the Rector and the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, who treated the students to Christmas cookies with the University logo.<\/p>\n

The culmination of the workshop was the joint decorating of the Christmas tree with freshly made ornaments, after the Rector festively lit the garland on it.<\/p>\n
