The Doctoral School of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin will host profesor Joan Garc\u00eda<\/strong> from the GEMMA-Group of Environmental Engineering and Microbiology, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya-BarcelonaTech, Spain), from April 24 to April 29, 2023.<\/p>\n

Short research CV of the invited profesor <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
\n

Profesor Joan Garc\u00eda<\/strong>\u00a0is a Full Professor of Environmental Engineering in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya-BarcelonaTech (UPC).\u00a0He carries out interdisciplinary research on the development and improvement environmental biotechnologies that allow the treatment of wastewaters and other types of wastes. His research is currently focused on microalgae-based treatment systems and nature-based solutions. Prof. Joan Garc\u00eda has written over 200 articles published in international scientific as well as technical journals and proceedings (h-index = 54). He is in the Stanford University ranking for the world 2% most cited authors in all career in the field of Environmental Engineering.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n
