It is important in the context of contemporary challenges and problems of intensive poultry production. The realization of the project will serve to verify the hypothesis assuming that early antibiotic treatment through inhibition of yolk sac resorption and thus decreasing the transfer of maternal antibodies to the bloodstream may reduce humoral immunity in the first days of life of birds, and consequently deteriorate the functioning of the immune system (immunosuppression) and the antioxidant status of birds.
