We invite you to participate in the series of workshops “Let ME know YOU”, organized as part of the project “Let ME know YOU – Welcome to ULSL” in the Welcome to Poland project financed by NAWA.<\/p>\n

The “Let ME know YOU” workshop is a series of 10 international meetings aimed at eliminating cultural prejudices related to stereotypes, improving communication in a diverse group, integrating the academic community through better understanding of the countries of origin of students, research, teaching and administrative staff of UPL and their cultures.<\/p>\n

When?<\/h4>\n

26th Jan <\/strong>(Wednesday) from 10:30 <\/strong>to 13:30.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For whom?<\/h4>\n

The workshops are intended for all students and employees of UPL.<\/p>\n

What is the purpose of the workshop?<\/h4>\n

The aim of the workshops is to involve all participants of the meeting. These will be social integration exercises conducted by a psychologist, which will help to integrate the group, and creative exercises, during which the participants, by creating simple everyday objects referring to the culture of a given country (eg traditional objects, decorations), will get to know different nationalities in a “tangible” way. Working in groups will be an opportunity to build positive relationships through getting to know each other and exchanging information about their countries of origin.<\/p>\n

How to sign up?<\/h4>\n

The workshops are open to students of all fields of study, from each year, doctoral students as well as administrative staff and academic teachers.<\/p>\n

Application for the workshop, i.e. a completed application form <\/strong>(on a computer), should be sent to the following e-mail address: anna.jezak@up.lublin.pl<\/a> by January 25, 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n
