      Information about the programme <\/h4>\n
      \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

      Our students have access to 12 warmblood horses, including native Ma\u0142opolski Horses and Felin Ponies – the only Polish breed of ponies bred by the employees of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin.\u00a0 Practical classes are held in the fully-equipped University Horse Centre and during trips to competitions, equestrian events, races and visits to leading horse centres.<\/p>\n

      Equestrian classes are conducted in small groups, diversified according to students’ skills.\u00a0 Top riders can take the Brown Badge Riding Exam of the Polish Equestrian Federation, which is a member of FEI.<\/p>\n

      Students have the opportunity to develop their scientific passions in various organizations and scientific circles.\u00a0 They can also their practice horse riding skills while studying at the university under the supervision of experienced instructors. Students receive a special discount.<\/p>\n

          Curriculum<\/h4>\n
          \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

          The curriculum includes 32 obligatory courses, 12 elective courses, three humanity subjects and a foreign language which is taught over four semesters. During the first two semesters the student will learn general biological and chemical principles and about legal issues which are a necessary foundation for typically specialized subjects.<\/p>\n

          At the beginning the specialized subjects include the History of Horse Breeding and Use and Horse Physiology. The following specialized subjects are ordered in such a way that will enable a student to have an internship with a professional breeding practice after the first three semesters. The subjects include Equine Biology, Purebred Arabian or Thoroughbred Horse Breeding, as well as Horse Reproduction and Rearing.<\/p>\n

          The internship starts during foal breeding and mare mating. Other specialized subjects of the first semesters and the fourth one, such as Horse Training Bases, Horse Care or Horse Geriatrics, will allow students to have their second internship which will include an utilitarian and care profile. This internship will take place in the summer, when the largest equestrian events in Poland take place including: \u201cEuropean Eventing Championships for Young Riders\u201d, \u201cCAVALIADA TOUR\u201d, \u201cCSIO5*\u201d, \u201cPride of Poland\u201d \u2013 a Purebred Arabian horse auction.<\/p>\n

          The last two semesters improve competence in the areas of the most popular ways of horse use and all forms of specialized care. The final outcome of the studies is the defense of one\u2019s Bachelor\u2019s thesis which results in obtaining the professional Baccalaureate title in Equine Breeding, Use and Care.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/li>\n <\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

            Teaching staff<\/h4>\n
            \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

            All lectures at EQUINE MANAGEMENT CARE are conducted by people who love horses and are first-class teachers: experts in the field of horse breeding and use, behaviourists, veterinarians with\u00a0 equine specialty, physiotherapists and natural horsemanship specialists. They have gained experience through 20 years of lectures and practical classes in Horse Breeding and Use, as well as Hippology and Equestrian Sports at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin. The results of their scientific research have been published in international publications specializing in horse science, behaviourism, welfare and animal production (including the Equine Veterinary Journal, Journal of Equine Veterinary Science, Animal Science Journal, Journal of Applied Animal Welfare, Journal of Veterinary Behaviour: Clinical Applications and Research). The most interesting achievements are presented on\u00a0 horse breeders\u2019 websites: horsetalk.co.nz, Fear Free Horse Training with Neil Davis, Paulic Report, horsescience.co, Kentucky Unbridled Spirit Newsletter and EQUUS Magazine.
            Most of the teachers are also practicing horse breeders, trainers and equestrian sport instructors, judges of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI) and professionally active veterinarians and behaviourists.\u00a0 Classes are also conducted by recognized practitioners such as Professor S\u0142awomir Pietrzak Ph.D., the president of the Jan\u00f3w Podlaski Stud.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/li>\n <\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

              Career prospects<\/h4>\n

              1. After completing the Effort Physiology and Horse Physiotherapy Course\u00a0 the students will receive the Training in Horse Physiotherapy Certificate issued by the School of Horse Rehabilitation: Equine Massage.<\/li>\n
              2. Completing the Natural Horsemanship Course the students will receive a Natural Horsemanship Training Certificate issued by the Society of Natural Horsemanship.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                • \u00a0various branches of the equine industry at racing tracks, sport and leisure riding centres, equine associations and other equestrian organizations,<\/li>\n
                • horse breeding centres, including studs\u00a0 and stallion centres, horse breeding associations,<\/li>\n
                • other institutions related to horse breeding and use such as feed and horse equipment factories, farms, forests, horse transport companies,<\/li>\n

                    The Felin Horse Centre<\/h4>\n
                    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

                    The Felin Horse Centre is located on the outskirts of Lublin, in the immediate vicinity of the city beltway. You can conveniently reach us by public transport.<\/strong><\/p>\n

                    \"\"<\/p>\n

                    We have three stables, with a total of 50 boxes, named after horses of particular merit for our Center. Stable no 1 “Nowator” – this is the home for our teaching horses.<\/p>\n

                    Stable no 2 “Grafit” and stable no 3 “Mistella” – breeding mares and breeding stallions of the Kuc Feli\u0144ski breed as well as pension horses live here.
                    We have two indoor riding arenas and an outdoor square with a quartz substrate.
                    Our horses use three paddocks, five paddocks and a large pasture.<\/p>\n

                    The coach house is a place where we store our carriages, carts, sleighs and various accessories necessary for working in a cart.
