The Department research is conducted in relation to the following groups of plants:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cereals, perennial and annual papilionaceous plants, root crops, energy plants.<\/p>\n

Key research issues include:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • selecting species and varieties of plants suitable for the environmental conditions of the Lublin region.<\/li>\n
  • determining optimal seeding time and density.<\/li>\n
  • fertilizing with macro- and micronutrients<\/li>\n
  • using growth regulators and other agrochemicals<\/li>\n
  • using physical factors (laser, GFE, magnetic field, microwaves) to stimulate growth, development and yield of plants and to improve their quality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Another issue relates to the analysis of changeability and correlation of plants morphological features determining crop yield and structure. <\/p>\n

    Significant part of the research relates to the impact of habitat and agrotechnical factors on the chemical composition of crop, which determines its nutritional and fodder value.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
